Lyrics of the Week of 2014

If you have been following my website for some time or if you are on Facebook, you may know that I have a Facebook page “Katarina’s Singing Room” where a great group of people share their passion for singing. Similarly to this website, Katarina’s Singing Room is a place for aspiring singers. The goal of the page is to provide fans with pieces of information that educate, entertain, and inspire them to sing.

Over time, I developed a “schedule” that I try to follow every week:

On Mondays, I publish infographics or a short piece of information in pictures. On Tuesdays, I post an instructional video about vocal technique or advice for singers. On Wednesdays, I post a link to an article with some singing tips. I also introduce some questions to share ideas and experiences. On Thursdays, I link to my own blog posts from this website. Finally, Fridays are fun days with the Lyrics of the Week and the Quote of the Week.

The Lyrics of the Week¬†are popular posts among fans (by the way, the term “fans” is an official term that Facebook uses for people who follow a particular Facebook page). Fans get the chance to guess a song based on given lyrics. It’s a guessing game for me too because I never know if the lyrics will make it easy or difficult. Therefore, sometimes the song is guessed very quickly and sometimes no one guesses the song.

So I thought, I would publish all of the lyrics from 2014 here in this blog post so you can play the game 46 times.

Can you guess the songs these lyrics come from. How many did you get right? The answers are posted at the end of the blog post (but do not cheat!).

Good luck!
