To say that there is a lot involved in singing would be an understatement.
You have to remember lyrics, stay on pitch, think of timing, and on top of it all – you have to breathe!
Proper breathing technique while singing is much easier said than done.
One way to improve this, though, is by fitness.
Your breath is supported by muscles, and muscles need exercise to get stronger.
Exercises such as cardio and yoga are great for singers.

If you know me, you know that I love (and do) core strengthening exercises that are beneficial for improving your posture and breathing. Also meditation (or quiet practice) is one of my favourite exercises.
